Last Saturday morning, we stopped by at Jean-Talon farmer’s market in Montreal. We were visiting for the first time. Located in the Little Italy district, it is bordered by Jean-Talon Street.; between the Jean-Talon and De Castelnau metro stations.
It opens year-round, even during Montreal’s severe winters. Occupied by local vendors, mostly farmers from the countryside around Montreal. We could not resist taking a close-up to everything we came across during our 2 hour visit. Indeed. If you plan a to visit Québec any time soon, you don’t want to miss taking a first look at what Jean-Talon Marché has to offer. Jean-Talon Market gives visitors a richer, more authentic market experience. It is frequented by Montreal residents rather than tourists, which translates to affordable prices and a more genuine range of product. Be sure to visit with appetite. Bon appétit! Jean-Talon’s site.
