With delicate flavor and soft skins white peaches and fresh blueberries are two of my favorite fruits. I love them, and so does my young daughter D.
Blueberries are available year round and white peaches can be found as early as February (in some organic markets), and in great abundance during the spring-summer months. Blueberries and peaches are great antioxidants and burst in vitamin C. I combined these two fruits revealing deep dark violet, plum-colored creamy compote ‘compota’.
Great as a breakfast, a fabulous afternoon snack for little ones or – just as a family treat after lunch or with tea-. Simmering for a few minutes, blend, and enjoy along with your young ones. Maybe one spoon for you and one for your little one… for sure.
