A short Visit to Cannon Beach

06.28.15

I have heard about the beauty of Oregon’s beaches for a long time. Cannon beach, on the north coast of Oregon, is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful beaches we have seen. Have you visited?  A popular vacation destination, it has a  little bit of everything. While in town, one can enjoy local galleries, fine dining, and great hotels. The beauty of Cannon Beach certainly rivals the beaches of Australia or California with sugar sand and scenery.

We spent three days enjoying the Oregon coast and the Columbia River.   The  perfect beach to walk, relax, and smell the sea. Although the day started foggy and overcast, it slowly transformed into a crisp and warm summer day.

I am working on a ricotta cheesecake with figs that I will be sharing with you in my upcoming post. Until then, let’s enjoy this gorgeous summer!

  1. Such ethereal photos 🙂 I’ve been hearing a lot about the Oregon coastline recently, the beaches seem to be more untouched than other places and very different to what I’m used to but so lovely. Oregon is on my wish list for sure!

  2. Wow Canon Beach looks beautiful, it definitely rivals California. I am off to California this week for 5 weeks, so hopefully will get some nice seascapes too. As usual your images are stunning. I love the fish on the plate and the mussels – just perfect.

    1. Merci beaucoup Clémentine pour ton commentaire.
