A few Exciting Fall Cookbooks

October 2, 2016

I came to tell you about some of the exciting Fall Cookbooks coming our way in October and November and those that already arrived in September.

With every season’s offerings, I’m excited to learn new ideas, techniques and of course to read the stories behind each cookbook author. The list this fall includes big-name authors such as Bourdain, Ottolenghi, Donna Hay, Raymond Blanc – to name a few. We may pre-order some of them.

I would love to hear what cookbook you have chosen as a favorite this season.

Be back soon.

  • Excellent choice of books, some of these are in my favorite list in the coming months, to even suggest as a Christmas gift.

It ‘s always pleased to come to you.

  • Oh! Lilia! Thank you kindly for your wonderful recommendations! You’re such a cookbook collector, avid cook and curator! I will take a closer look at Gather by Gill Meller – intrigued by his British cooking. Thank you again for the introduction. I know you follow Ottolenghi closely. Please keep your recommendations coming – many of us who follow your blog (http://lemontreecafe.blogspot.com) and cooking would love to hear what you get locally. Thanks so much for keeping in touch! Hugs to you! xo 🙂

Looks like there are some amazing reads amongst that collection. I absolutely love the Donna Hay “Life in Balance” and at present am drooling over “Feel Good Food” by Valli Little of Delicious. Have an inspirational week Elizabeth. xxx

    • Thank you for taking the time to sharing your favorites with us, Ev! I know you follow Donna Hay closely – I do too! Can’t wait to hear more about your latest travels (Italy and beyond). Adored your truffle foraging expeditions and story through what your lenses captured. Tell us more! Looking forward to your next story at http://shadesofcinnamon.com/- Hugs to you! 🙂

Wow, thats quite a spread. I really like Donna Hay. I am enjoying a Vegetarian cookbook by Lakshmi called “Pure”.
    Have a great sunday Elizabeth.

  • Hi Elizabeth! I am waiting for my delivery of Diana Henry’s Simple and Taste and Technique by Naomi. I already have Life in Balance and Ottolenghi. On my list is Mozza at Home cause I love Nancy Silverton. I would want to recommend a book titled Gather by Gill Meller, Head Chef of River Cottage – got my copy yesterday, it is a stunner!
Looking forward to your new pics! Hugs, Lilia
