Homemade Sweet Pea Baby Purée

Ideally, you would want to use spring fresh peas; however, organic frozen sweet peas are a great alternative. Always organic.

This simple recipe is found in one of my favorite baby wholesome recipe books, Cooking for Baby, by Lisa Barnes.

  • Organic Peas, fresh or frozen (2 cups 10.oz)
  • Water
  1. Bring 1 inch water to a boil in a pot. Incorporate the peas in a steamer basket set in pot, cover tightly, and steam until tender enough to purée them.Puree peas in a food processor until smooth. Add cooking liquid to thin or to a consistency that your little one can handle.
